Your Wedding Checklist:
15 Essentials to make a
PERFECT day
1. The Date
Consider whether there are any specific dates that are special to you and your partner. Is there a particular season that you both enjoy. Many wedding dates are related to a special day, like the first day that you met.
2. Your Wedding Dress
A wedding dress, veil, and accessories such as jewellery and shoes for the bride. Chose between Romantic, Classic, Boho, Modern, Glamorous, or go for a Non-Traditional. Be happy with how it fits & make sure you can walk in it, without tripping up.
3. The Venue
Your wedding venue for the ceremony, reception & evening party including arrangements for food & drink. It could be a Church, a Registry office, a hotel, Country club, a Pub, a Barn, a historic site or mansion, or maybe overseas at a holiday resort.
4. Hair & Make-up
Select your hair stylist and make-up artist to give the bridal party the perfect look. What suits you, the classic French Twist, a High bun, Loose Waves, Half Up Half Down or a Long Wedding Ponytail?
5. Rings
Rings for the bride and groom.
There are a variety of shapes such as the Classic court, D-Shape, Diamond or Celtic. Likewise you have the option of Gold, Platinum, White Gold or Titanium to name just a few.
6. The Videographer
A Videographer to capture those perfect memories and emotions of the day so you can relive the moment forever.
7. Wedding Party Attire
Attire for the wedding party, including the groom, bridesmaids and groomsmen.
8. Flowers
Flowers for the ceremony and reception, including bouquets, boutonnieres, and centrepieces.
9. Music
Music for the ceremony, which can be traditional or personal to you both.
For the reception perhaps a pianist or light backgound music.
And for the evening maybe a DJ, live band or saxophonist.
10. Cake
Your wedding cake or alternative dessert. Decide on a round, oval or square either in miniature, single tier or multiple tier. It can be a classic cake, modern or even a novelty.
11. Photographer
A Photographer to take still images of the wedding ceremony and reception
12. Invitations
Invitations and "Save the Date" notes.
13. Decorations
Decorations for the ceremony and reception, such as lighting, candles, favours and table settings.
14. Cars
Transportation for the wedding party.
Maybe a classic vehicle such as a Limousine or perhaps a vintage car. If you are feeling racey why not chose a sports car!
15. Hotel
Accommodation for the wedding party and out of town guests.
And Finally...
Keep in mind that this is a general check-list and it is important that you agree on a budget and tailor your wedding to your specific needs, making it special to you.
Most of all, enjoy the day as it will fly by so make sure you have your videographer recording every moment so you can capture and relive the day forever.
